Back In The Mood - Possibly one of the best soul albums in recent years? author: Paul Miller (BBC Radio) This album is absolutely stunning, and after discovering Dennis, and playing his music on my radio show here in the UK, I have been inundated with emails from listeners asking to hear more! There are hundreds of soul artists, and many of them are very good, but Dennis has that extra something which makes his music stand out. Just listen to the clips, and let your ears decide - I think you too will agree.” - Paul Miller - BBC Radio

Karma is Real! I recently got a call from a gentleman who has 3 sons who form a band call Michael Jazz Trio. My wife heard them playing outside a local 7-11 store. She was so impressed with what she heard that she gave him my card and suggested he call. He called and made an appointment to visit the studio. He arrived the next night with his wife and three sons. I hooked them into the system and asked the to play so I could get a flavor for their sound. The oldest Matthew - 13 on the Keys, David - 11 on Sax and Jordan - 6 on the Drums. I too was impressed to hear these young men wailing away. I began to take notice of a dent in the bell of the Saxophone that David was playing. It looked quite familiar. When they stopped playing, I asked if I could take a look at it. To my surprise it was my old Sax I had owned for more than 20 years. I had traded it for a Drum set for the studio almost 2 years ago. I though it was so ironic that out of all of the Saxophones in the world this one made it's way back home. I instantly knew I had to work with these young men. FATE. It's alive and kicking...” - Dennis Coleman

Fear Not Your Own Special Glory “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, or fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you… We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we’re liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” -Marianne Williamson” - Marianne Williamson

You can make a dollar anywhere! The two dollars below solidifies my belief that in this country, you can make a dollar anywhere. While visiting my son in North Carolina, I sat down at a Baby Grand piano that was on display at a furniture store that my son works. I started noodling around to pass the time while my wife browsed the store. Soon the salespeople started to take notice. One of the salesmen reached into his pocket and placed a dollar into a crystal wine glass that was on the top of the piano. We all laughed when I thanked him for the dollar and told him I was really going to keep it! I had him sign it and told him I would frame it and put it in my studio just to confirm the fact that you really can earn a dollar anywhere... Thanks George and Rodney... (Oh Rodney, another salesman also topped of the glass with a cool buck...) ” - Dennis Coleman
